As a CASA intern you would be expected to complete all requirements of a CASA volunteer - training, background checks, etc.
Our internship encompasses all aspects of CASA of Lafourche:
- Case Management
- Court observations and legal documentation
- Office tasks (mailings, answering the phone, working with data bases, etc.)
- Public awareness and publicity
- Event planning
- Assisting with fundraisers
- Job shadowing the Executive Director and Advocate Supervisors
